About me
👋 Hi!
I am Jiale Han, a Research Assistant Professor at the center for AI for social science, Shenzhen Loop Area Institute (SLAI). Before joining SLAI, I was a post-doctoral fellow at the School of Business and Management, HKUST. I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from BUPT in 2023, during which I was also a visiting Ph.D. student at SUTD. I received my Bachelor degree in Communication Engineering from XDU in 2018.
My research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and business. I am broadly interested in natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and their applications in economic and financial scenarios. With an interdisciplinary background in business school research and computer science, I am interested in developing AI methods that can understand, reason about, and support decision-making in complex business and financial systems.
